Frequently asked questions
Our standard evening package includes 2 hours of live music, usually performed as either:
• 2 × 60 minute sets
or
• 3 × 40 minute sets
We help structure timings so the night builds naturally.
Yes - we will learn and perform your first dance live at no extra cost (with reasonable notice).
Absolutely.
You can:
• Request songs from our repertoire
• Share preferred genres
• Give us “must play” and “do not play” songs
We tailor every setlist to the crowd on the night.
Yes - if you’re happy for us to!
We can take requests live and read the dancefloor, or stick strictly to your planned playlist.
Yes - we play background music between live sets so there’s never silence.
We can also provide a DJ Service after the band if booked.
Most peak dates (May–September & December) are booked 12–24 months in advance.
Off-peak dates can sometimes be available with shorter notice, so it’s always worth asking.
We send a Booking Agreement and a 50% deposit invoice.
Once the deposit is paid, the date is exclusively reserved for you.
The remaining balance is due 2–3 weeks before the event.
Unfortunately we can’t hold dates without a deposit, as enquiries often overlap.
Bookings are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Ideally around 4m x 3m minimum for the full band.
We can adapt to smaller spaces - just let us know your venue and we’ll advise.
Around 1-2 hours for the full setup (PA System, Lighting, DJ Booth)
We usually arrive well before guests enter the room and complete a soundcheck discreetly.
Yes - we provide a full professional PA system and stage/party lighting suitable for your venue size.
Yes.
We carry Public Liability Insurance and all equipment is PAT tested.
Certificates can be sent directly to your venue on request.
Yes - we regularly perform at limiter venues and adjust our setup accordingly.
Yes - we contact your venue directly before the event to confirm:
• Setup times
• Power access
• Sound limits
• Evening schedule
This keeps everything stress-free for you.
Yes - we offer acoustic daytime options for drinks receptions and wedding breakfasts.
Bank transfer (preferred).
Invoices and receipts are provided for all payments.
Your deposit secures the date and is non-refundable.
If the date is successfully rebooked, we may offer a partial refund at our discretion.
Full terms are outlined in the Booking Agreement.
We maintain a professional dep network and will provide suitable replacement musicians of the same standard.
In the extremely unlikely event we cannot perform, you receive a full refund.
Yes - we regularly perform across Essex, London, Kent, Suffolk and surrounding areas, and nationwide for weddings.
Travel is included within our standard radius. Longer distances may have a small travel fee.
A live band creates atmosphere, interaction and energy that can’t be replicated - guests don’t just hear the music, they experience it.
